Bloco em FoCo is a 15+ member Afro-Brazilian drumming ensemble, playing traditional and contemporary rhythms of Salvador Bahia, Brazil, particularly those of Bahia's carnival, generally considered to be the most "authentic" carnival in all Brazil. Bahia is the source of much of Brazil's popular music and many of its best known composers and performers.
